Job description

Lock Manufacturing is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, repairing, testing, and inspecting mechanical products while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and takes pride in producing quality products.


Essential Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical components and finished products according to drawings and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
• Inspect parts for quality and identify defects before assembly.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Work with supervisors and team members to resolve production issues.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience, technical training, hobbies, automotive repair, farming, construction, military service, or similar experience.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
