Job description

JOB SUMMARY
The Core Solutions Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining Core Solutions products and services, as well as engaging in testing, tracking and resolving issues, and platform management. The position will specialize in the Core Solutions product suite which includes but is not limited to: MANTL, FCM/Image Centre, Teller platform, PREBOTs, and eSign platform.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide support and assist with administration of applications supported by Core Solutions.
  • Serve as a backup to Core Solutions Manager.
  • Maintain an intermediate level of knowledge and serves as subject matter expert on applicable systems, features and functions, and industry best practices.
  • Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new platforms, features, and upgrades to existing Core product and services.
  • Assist with the development and execution of platform strategy and roadmaps.
  • Work with lines of business to develop and implement changes to Core systems that improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Work with platform vendors to resolve issues and enhance platform performance in a timely manner.
  • Review and document product bulletins and roadmaps, attend system related webinars, evaluate impact to customers and bank employees, make recommendations, communicate enhancements, systems maintenance, and outages.
  • Work with vendors and business units on projects relating to changes, upgrades, and the implementation of new features; performs tests enhancements and documents system changes.
  • Gather business requirements for the improvement or change initiative.
  • Ensure initiatives adhere to change and project management policies and standard practices. Facilitates change management activities and communicates possible solutions along with the risks associated. Coordinate and design testing with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain supported platforms to current versions and perform system testing.
  • Answer inquiries regarding applications to resolve basic and intermediate problems in a timely manner.
  • Check, respond, process, and achieve Core platform service requests in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to the Bank on daily operational issues, special projects and other areas as needed.
  • Assist in writing policies, updating disclosures, documenting procedures, and analyzing and improving existing processes.
  • Running and distributing reports, analyzing, tracking, and reporting platform statistics.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of three years' work experience in banking or a technology-related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent with written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven critical thinking and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical information and communicate to non-technical users.
  • Detail and multi-tasked oriented.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Possess the aptitude and desire to gain a thorough understanding of Retail Banking and other platforms supported by Core Solutions.
  • Strong customer service and support skills. Adept at collaborating with different areas of the bank
  • Personal computer competency - intermediate to advanced level using Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
