Skills Institute Soccer Coach
Position Type: Part Time
About the Role
Sofive Soccer Center is looking for energetic, dependable, and kid-focused coaches to join our Skills Institute team.
As a Skills Institute Coach, you will lead structured weekly soccer classes for children ages 5 to 12. Using our proven curriculum, you will help players develop technical skills, confidence, teamwork, and a lasting love for the game.

Responsibilities
• Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12
• Teach core skills including dribbling, passing, shooting, movement, and teamwork
• Follow the Skills Institute curriculum and class structure
• Create a positive, encouraging, and appropriately challenging environment
• Promote teamwork, perseverance, confidence, and sportsmanship
• Build strong relationships with players and families
• Represent Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil' Kickers professionally and enthusiastically
• Support special events and local marketing initiatives when needed
Schedule
• Weekend availability is required
• Additional shifts may be available on weekday afternoons and evenings
• Coaches must commit to consistent weekly shifts throughout the 13-week season
Qualifications
• Passion for soccer and youth development
• Positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude
• Ability to keep children engaged in a group setting
• Dependability and commitment to scheduled classes
• Willingness to learn and develop as a coach
• Previous playing, teaching, or coaching experience is helpful but not required
• Successful completion of a background check
