San Dimas Community Hospital is nationally recognized, locally preferred, and community focused.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the operational and fiscal management of the clinical laboratory and pathology, in accordance with established hospital and department policies and standards. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements mandated by appropriate State and Federal accrediting and licensing agencies. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectations to be completed in a specified timeframe. Must be prepared to participate in bench testing as departments needs require. Perform routine laboratory testing to support the department as needed.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required2. ASCP certification, or equivalent, required.3. Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA (42 CFR 493.1489).4. Five years of hospital laboratory work experience required.5. 2 Years of Laboratory Supervisory Experience required

San Dimas Community Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options.  Benefits may vary based on employment status, i.e. full-time, part-time, per diem or temporary.  A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $96,096.00 to $130,104.00 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
