The Position

Clinical Specialist Manager, Core Lab

The Opportunity

The Clinical Specialist Manager, Roche Core Lab is a national business leader responsible for translating clinical capability into measurable commercial impact. This role leads a team of Clinical Specialists to develop and execute a clear clinical strategy aligned to enterprise priorities, driving growth of High Medical Value Assays (HMVAs) across the Core Lab portfolio.

This individual operates at the intersection of clinical insight and business strategy-partnering across Sales, Marketing, Medical & Scientific Affairs (MSA), and Corporate Accounts to shape opportunities, influence decision-making, and deliver against revenue and financial objectives.

The ideal candidate is not purely clinical or technical, but a strategic operator who can synthesize complex information, align stakeholders, and lead with discipline to scale impact nationally.

This is a field based role - you may live anywhere in the United States.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or Clinical Laboratory, or equivalent education and work

  • 3 years of experience in clinical laboratory, health environment or diagnostics industry

  • 1 year of previous management or supervisory experience, or demonstrated leadership skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in diagnostics, healthcare, or related industry

  • Demonstrated experience in sales, marketing, or commercial strategy

  • Prior leadership experience or clear evidence of leadership capability and influence

  • Experience in Core Lab diagnostics or adjacent markets strongly preferred

  • Proven track record of building and executing strategies that drive measurable business results

  • Core Lab or in-vitro diagnostics experience

  • Prior sales experience with demonstrated success

  • Marketing or product strategy experience

  • Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and health systems

  • Familiarity with Roche Diagnostics products and operating model

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel up to 50-75%

Relocation Benefits are not available for this position

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $105,300-195,500. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
