ABOUT VICTORY LIVE
Victory Live is a private equity backed technology company aimed at maximizing distribution and yield for live event ticket inventory. We provide an end-to-end software platform for the live ticketing industry, managing thousands of sports, theater, and live music event tickets on behalf of artists, promoters, teams, venues, and professional resellers. Victory Live’s comprehensive offerings include an established B2B marketplace along with both a full-service and an automated SaaS platform to handle all elements of the ticket sales lifecycle, from ingestion to sales fulfillment.
THE POSITION
Victory Live is searching for an IT Engineer that is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the organization’s IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks, and servers. This role supports both on-site and remote employees by ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and networking equipment. The IT Engineer will work closely with the IT team to implement security measures, perform system upgrades, and manage user support requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Google Workspace (Gmail) Administration:

  • User Account Management: Creating, managing, and de-provisioning user accounts, groups, and aliases within Google Workspace.
  • Email Security & Filtering: Configuring and managing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for email authentication and protection against phishing and spam.
  • Gmail Configuration: Managing Gmail settings, including email routing, filters, forwarding, and retention policies.
  • Google Admin Console: Proficiency in navigating and managing various Google Workspace services through the Admin Console.
  • Google Vault: Setting up and managing email archiving, e-discovery, and retention rules.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Managing mobile devices using Google Workspace MDM features to ensure security and compliance.

2. Identity and Access Management:

  • Okta or other SSO (Single Sign-On) integration experience for managing user authentication and access control.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Configuring MFA within Google Workspace and integrating it with other identity providers like Okta.
  • User Provisioning: Automating user provisioning and de-provisioning across multiple platforms integrated with Google Workspace.

3. Networking and Connectivity:

  • DNS Configuration: Managing DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, etc.) for seamless email delivery and proper domain validation.
  • Google Workspace Connectivity: Troubleshooting network issues that could affect access to Google services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.).
  • VPN and Remote Access: Setting up and managing VPNs for secure remote access, especially for distributed teams.

4. Data Backup and Recovery:

  • Google Drive & Gmail Backup Solutions: Experience with third-party backup tools for Google Workspace, such as Backupify or Spanning.
  • Disaster Recovery Planning: Ensuring data redundancy and developing strategies for quick recovery in case of data loss or email outages.

5. Security and Compliance:

  • Google Workspace Security Best Practices: Implementing security policies (password requirements, MFA, access control) to protect organizational data.
  • Endpoint Protection: Managing endpoint security for devices connecting to Google Workspace services.
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Configuring and managing DLP policies to prevent the unauthorized sharing of sensitive data through Gmail or Drive.

6. Collaboration Tools:

  • Google Meet & Chat: Managing video conferencing and messaging settings, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth communication for users.
  • Google Drive & Docs: Managing file permissions, sharing policies, and collaboration settings for shared files and folders.

7. System Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Google Workspace Reporting: Using audit logs and security reports to monitor account activity, track suspicious behavior, and ensure compliance.
  • Alerting and Monitoring Tools: Configuring and using third-party monitoring tools like JumpCloud or G Suite Security Center for enhanced visibility into system status and security.

8. Endpoint Support:

  • Cross-Platform Expertise: Experience supporting both Mac and Windows devices in a Google Workspace environment, including troubleshooting sync issues, email clients, and browser configurations.
  • BYOD Policies: Configuring and managing BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) policies for secure access to Gmail and other Google Workspace services on personal devices.

9. Integration and Third-Party Tools:

  • Third-Party Apps Integration: Managing integrations with third-party apps that sync with Google Workspace (e.g., CRM systems, Slack, etc.).
  • Workspace Marketplace: Familiarity with Google Workspace Marketplace and evaluating third-party tools for compatibility and security.

10. AI Tooling, Automation, and Development:

  • Claude and Claude Code: Daily use of Claude and Claude Code as core working tools for scripting, log and configuration analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation. Comfort working in an agentic command-line environment is expected, not optional.
  • Automation Development: Designing, building, and maintaining scripts and internal tooling with AI assistance to automate user provisioning and de-provisioning, access reviews, reporting, and other repetitive IT operations work.


REQUIREMENTS

1. Technical Skills:

  • High proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems, including troubleshooting and user support.
  • Experience with Gmail, Okta, DNS management, Crowdstrike, JumpCloud and VPN technologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
