Now Hiring: Stand-Up Forklift Operators

Automotive supplier in the Cottondale, AL area looking for qualified Stand-Up Forklift Operators.

Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour.

Employees can earn a gross average of $875/ weekly working an average of 50 hours per week!

Job Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift to move racks and materials throughout the facility, including shipping and receiving operations.
  • Comply with all company policies and government safety procedures and regulations.
  • Complete the necessary paperwork related to shipping and receiving, production, etc.
  • Maintain production standards and achieve established production goals.
  • Follow the preventative maintenance program for all equipment including completing all supporting documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in response to changing operating conditions and plant priorities.

Qualifications

Please note: Former SMP: Motherson employees are not eligible for rehire.

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Stand-Up Forklift Operator (preferred)
  • 1 year of Forklift experience required in a production warehouse setting.
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening.
