Visual / UI Designer Design a dynamic blend of high-impact marketing visuals and systematic product-level UI work, ensuring a cohesive, conversion‐optimized Sunrun experience across all digital touchpoints. Responsibilities Visual Design & Brand Identity Produce social media graphics, display banners, email templates, web landing pages, and in‐product UI screens that embody the Sunrun visual identity. Serve as steward of Sunrun's brand guidelines and continuously raise creative standards. Translate complex solar technology and financial concepts into clear infographics, visual narratives, and UI content patterns. Deliver pixel‐perfect mockups, prototypes, and production‐ready assets for desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints. UI Design & Design Systems Design intuitive, aesthetic interfaces for web and mobile products, defining layouts, color schemes, typography hierarchies, icon sets, and interactive elements. Help evolve Sunrun's design system, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to maintain consistency and accelerate design‐to‐development velocity. Collaborate closely with front‐end engineers and speak the language of HTML/CSS to translate design intent into code. Performance & Conversion Optimization Partner with the Performance Marketing team to create high‐impact ad creatives that drive measurable action across Meta, Google, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and emerging platforms. Support A/B testing by developing multiple creative iterations to identify visual and UX drivers that improve click‐through, conversion, and retention rates. Ensure every customer‐facing touchpoint, from first impression to checkout, is cohesive, accessible, and conversion‐optimized. Collaboration & Innovation Work cross‐functionally with copywriters, UX designers, product managers, marketing leaders, and engineers to deliver projects from brief to pixel‐perfect final deliverables. Present and defend design decisions, incorporating stakeholder feedback with professionalism. Leverage AI design tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, generative fills) to accelerate image creation, automate repetitive tasks, and explore new creative concepts. Stay ahead of design trends, UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and technology shifts. Qualifications 2+ years of professional design experience in a digital role, with a portfolio that showcases both marketing design excellence and systematic UI/product work. Expert proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). Experience building and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and style guides in Figma or equivalent tools. Intermediate to advanced skills in motion design, including animated social content, GIFs, and short‐form video editing. Familiarity with HTML/CSS constraints; ability to speak the language of developers. Proven track record designing direct‐response assets for paid social and digital advertising, with an understanding of click‐through and conversion drivers. Comfort using AI tools to enhance the creative process. Strong project management skills; ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines. Excellent presentation and collaboration skills; comfortable defending design decisions and incorporating diverse stakeholder feedback. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (preferred). Physical Demands Standard office duties, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and using a computer. High visual acuity and ability to focus for extended periods on detailed design work, color correction, and pixel‐level refinement. Ability to present creative concepts and take constructive feedback from stakeholders professionally.
