Job description

**Please note that this internship is for currently enrolled Duke students only!**
The Duke Innovative Design Agency (DiDA), sponsored by the University Center Activities & Events, is an undergraduate student-staffed strategic marketing agency founded as a resource for the Duke community. The DiDA team aims to serve the Duke community by offering creative marketing and communications solutions. The DiDA team takes a collaborative approach to building client relationships and delivering exceptional service. Student experts from a variety of specialties work closely with representatives to determine each client's marketing needs and preferences.

Responsibilities
  • Use appropriate software, tools, and other available resources to design effective and aesthetically pleasing products for clients
  • Work independently and collaboratively with team members and mananagers to deliver projects with various levels of complexity
  • Meet with clients as needed to discuss their expectations for their design needs and marketing campaigns and to establish realistic project deadlines
  • Demonstrate familiarity with DiDA services and Duke trademark, marketing, and communications policies
  • Maintain regular communication with DiDA team and management
  • Commitment to responsibilities and deadlines

Time Commitment
Interns should dedicate at least 5 hours per week to DiDA, depending on the nature of the project assigned. These hours should include time spent in the DiDA Cube, located in the Greenhouse of the Bryan Center.

  • Demonstrated knowlege, skills, and abilities in the area of at least one specific specialty
