Copy Center Site Manager POSITION PROFILE
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an in-house copy and print center within a small medical school environment. This role leads a small team while remaining hands-on in print production, job intake, and workflow management using WebCRD and Fiery systems.
The Site Manager ensures high-quality output on production print equipment, maintains strong client relationships, and delivers excellent customer service. This role also supports light graphic updates such as modifying templates and preparing files for print.
Additionally, the Site Manager is responsible for team development, performance management, and maintaining an organized, professional, and service-focused work environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of the on-site copy and print center, including oversight of a small team and active participation in production work.
  • Receive, review, and prioritize print requests submitted through WebCRD; manage job workflow through Fiery systems and production devices.
  • Operate and oversee digital production print equipment, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of all jobs.
  • Perform light graphic manipulation tasks, such as updating templates, adjusting text, and placing images for print readiness.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with faculty, staff, and internal clients to understand needs and set expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace while ensuring efficient job tracking and completion.
  • Balance multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ensure service level expectations are consistently met, including turnaround times, quality standards, and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor workload distribution and align team responsibilities with production needs and deadlines.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members; provide performance feedback and support career development.
  • Foster a positive team environment focused on collaboration, accountability, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve processes and service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment or workflow issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Support reporting, tracking, and documentation of site activity, production metrics, and operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflow, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)
Typically Requires:
  • High school or GED is required.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in a related field (B2B and/or technical).
  • Previous 2 years of managerial work experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous 3-5 years Customer facing work experience required.
  • Demonstrated high level knowledge and understanding of technology.
  • Off 360 proficient user
