We are seeking a high-impact Sales Manager to lead, develop, and drive performance within an established sales team across defined territories. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who can both produce personally and elevate the performance of others. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building winning teams, driving net-new business, and executing a disciplined sales process within the copier, print, and managed services space.


Position Overview

The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving team revenue targets, developing sales talent, and expanding market share. This role combines active field selling, coaching, and performance management to ensure consistent growth across both new and existing accounts.


Key Responsibilities


Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, hire, and onboard high-performing sales representatives

• Coach and develop reps through ride-alongs, deal strategy, and pipeline reviews

• Conduct structured weekly one-on-ones focused on activity, pipeline, and performance

• Build a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement Sales Execution

• Maintain an active personal sales pipeline and close net-new business

• Lead by example in prospecting, discovery, and closing

• Support reps in advancing and closing key opportunities

• Ensure consistent execution of the full sales cycle across the team


Pipeline & Performance Management

• Drive activity standards including prospecting, appointments, and pipeline growth

• Maintain accurate forecasting across weekly, monthly, and quarterly timelines

• Inspect pipeline quality, not just quantity, within CRM (Zoho or similar)

• Identify gaps early and implement corrective actions


Strategic Growth

• Expand market share within assigned territories and verticals

• Develop and execute territory and account strategies

• Strengthen relationships with key clients and prospects

• Partner with leadership to align on growth initiatives and targets


Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with service, operations, and support teams to ensure client success

• Align with specialists in MPS, production print, and workflow solutions

• Drive a seamless customer experience from sale through implementation


Success Metrics

• Team revenue performance vs. goal

• Pipeline coverage and conversion rates

• Rep activity levels and consistency

Required Skills & Competencies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in copier, print, or managed services sales

• Prior sales management experience with demonstrated team success

• Proven track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent

• Active field sales experience with consistent personal production

• Experience growing net-new business and expanding market share

• Strong understanding of MPS, production print, and document workflow solutions

• Experience within an independent dealer environment strongly preferred
