PROLIM Global Corporation (www.prolim.com) is hiring an ION Application Architect for a leading enterprise client.
Job Title: ION Application Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ION Application Architect to design, develop, and support enterprise integrations using Infor ION and related Infor CloudSuite technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building data pipelines, configuring Business Object Documents (BODs), developing ION workflows, and optimizing integration performance across multiple enterprise systems.
This role requires strong expertise in integration architecture, data transformation, workflow automation, testing coordination, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and implementation teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain data pipelines between Infor and dependent systems.
  • Design and develop enterprise integrations using Infor ION.
  • Create and maintain ION flows and data mappings.
  • Handle data transformation rules, field mappings, and format conversions.
  • Configure and manage Business Object Documents (BODs) in Infor ION.
  • Develop workflows with approvals, notifications, and exception handling.
  • Automate business processes and integration workflows.
  • Lead Integration Unit Testing and System Integration Testing (SIT) activities.
  • Monitor failed transactions, data errors, and integration failures.
  • Optimize processing times and integration performance.
  • Document integration architecture diagrams, data mappings, and data flow structures.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience with Infor Lawson / Infor CloudSuite implementations and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Infor ION integrations, ION API, Data Flows, and BODs.
  • Experience building and maintaining enterprise data pipelines and system integrations.
  • Expertise in data mapping, transformation rules, field mappings, and workflow automation.
  • Strong knowledge of Infor OS, IPA (Infor Process Automation), REST APIs, and CloudSuite architecture.
  • Experience configuring approval workflows, notifications, and exception handling processes.
  • Hands-on experience with integration testing, SIT, UAT, and troubleshooting integration failures.
  • Strong SQL, Oracle, and ETL experience for data validation and migration activities.
  • Experience monitoring failed transactions, resolving data issues, and optimizing integration performance.
  • Ability to document integration architecture diagrams, technical mappings, and process flows.
  • Experience working closely with Business Analysts, Data Architects, and implementation teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Experience with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure is preferred.
  • Healthcare or large enterprise ERP implementation experience is a plus.
