Job description

POSITION:ย On-call Cooks Helper for Jordan Public Schools. Hours will vary depending on need.
SUMMARY:ย Provide a clean, safe and positive environment for students, staff and the public.
SALARY:ย $19.48 per hour
REPORTS TO:ย Nutrition Services Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Degree earned or equivalent experience.
  • Serve Safe, CPR, First Aid Certification or other applicable certifications preferred.
  • Good physical condition, ability to work in a commercial kitchen environment (ie: extreme temperatures and high noise levels) and the ability to lift up to 50 poundsย with no physical ย restrictions.
  • Experience working with food preparation in a school district.
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment.ย 
  • Knowledge of computer programs and willingness to learn specific systems used within the district (ex: Word Ware).
