Job description

ย
We are seeking Fryer Service Technicians to join our team and deliver mobile, on-site oil filtration and fryer cleaning services to commercial kitchens, including restaurants, hospitals, corporate cafeterias, and colleges.
This is not a typical cleaning job. This role is best suited for dependable, self-driven individuals who take pride in managing their own route, working independently, and delivering consistent service to customers. At the same time, this role requires being a team playerโ€”supporting coworkers, adjusting routes when needed, and assisting with coverage when situations arise.
You will follow scheduled weekly routes and perform services such as vacuum-based fryer cleaning, oil filtration, waste oil removal, fresh oil delivery, and other kitchen services.
This role is part of Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions, a leading provider of "Going Green" services for commercial kitchens. Filta helps businesses extend the life of their cooking oil, reduce environmental waste, and maintain cleaner, safer kitchens.
What We Offer:

  • Competitive WEEKLY Pay starts at $20 per hour and increases to $21 per hour at 6 months based on performance review
  • 4-day work week with minimal weekend work
  • Early start time (5:00 AM) with 10โ€“12 hour shifts
  • Consistent routes and customer relationships
  • Supportive, professional team environment with clear expectations
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform fryer cleaning and oil microfiltration services on scheduled routes
  • Service commercial kitchen clients in a professional and consistent manner
  • Arrive on time and complete all scheduled routes reliably
  • Deliver high-quality customer service at each location
  • Manage time effectively to stay on schedule throughout the day
  • Operate and properly maintain all company equipment
  • Demonstrate safe driving habits and maintain clean, organized service vehicles
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with management
  • Accurately utilize company service software/app
  • Work both independently and collaboratively when needed (team jobs, coverage, schedule adjustments)
Important Role Requirements:

This role is physically demanding and requires working in hot, non-climate-controlled commercial kitchen environments.
It is a strong fit for individuals who:
  • Prefer hands-on, active work rather than sitting at a desk
  • Take ownership of their route and customer relationships
  • Value consistency, structure, and reliability
  • Can work independently without constant supervision
  • Are also willing to step in and support the team when needed
Early start times allow for more predictable scheduling and minimal weekend work, but require consistent punctuality.
This is not janitorial or housekeeping work. This is a structured service role involving specialized equipment, route-based work, and customer-facing responsibilities.
Qualifications:

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and clean driving record (required by insurance carrier)
  • Reliable personal transportation to/from the shop
  • Ability to push, pull, and repeatedly lift up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Benefits:

  • 4-day work week
  • Bonuses
  • Paid Training
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Holidays
  • Health insurance (day 1, with employer contribution)
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life
  • 401(k) eligible after 6 months with employer match
  • Free uniforms
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Wellness resources
