Job description

Regions Hospital's kitchen is hiring for Cook position(s) that provide you a great work-life balance! The Cook position will perform food preparation and cooking tasks in the kitchen and cafe. This position prepares, cooks, supplies, and distributes food to various serving lines. This position also cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, and work areas. Performs other duties as assigned.

FTE: 0.0; Per Diem

Work Schedule: Required to work a minimum of four shifts per month - two shifts must be a weekend shift.

Required Qualifications:

  • One year of professional cooking experience in a healthcare kitchen, restaurant or catering with high-volume, high-quality food production, short order cooking or institutional baking.
  • Culinary education will substitute for one year of professional experience.

Salary Range: Starting Rate: $22.86/hour. Pay rate is based off previous cook work experience.
