32.5 Hours per Week / Starting Wage $27/hr.
The Cook/Manager is the lead person of the schools Nutrition Services staff. The Cook/Manager actively manages a full-service kitchen and promotes good nutrition, healthy eating and a harmonious work relationship with co-workers, students, faculty and staff in a pleasant environment while maximizing efficiency and maintaining a positive financial position. Interpersonal skills, team work, and shared multi-tasking are important requirements of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Knowledge of foods and nutrition, methods and techniques of quantity food cookery, operation and the care of institutional equipment.
  2. Ability to keep all records as directed and possesses good basic judgment.
  3. ServSafe certification a plus.
  4. Computer knowledge necessary.
