Job Title: Mechanical Conveyor Millwright

Location: Greater Cincinnati
Employment Type: Full-Time
Industry: Industrial / Food Processing / Material Handling
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Conveyor Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor and material-handling systems in industrial and food-processing environments. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision alignment skills, and the ability to work safely in fast-paced production settings.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical conveyor systems, structural installation, and field service work, and understands the importance of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, assemble, and align conveyor systems including belt, roller, chain, and screw conveyors.
  • Perform mechanical installation of drives, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and pulleys.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layout plans.
  • Perform precision alignment of shafts, sprockets, couplings, and drive systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Replace components such as bearings, belts, chains, and wear parts.
  • Work with rigging equipment to safely move and position machinery.
  • Support system start-up, testing, and commissioning.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and site policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Millwright or Mechanical Conveyor Installer.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyor systems and material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with mechanical alignment, rigging, and equipment installation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices.
