The Senior Construction Site-Project Manager - Data Centers will Support Rehlko's Data Center direct business by providing Construction Project Management services for the installation, testing, and commissioning of Rehlko supplied equipment for data center direct customers. The Sr Construction Project Manager Site Execution of Data Centers will assure compliance with regulations, Rehlko standards and customer defined project goals and objectives. This role will participate and contribute to the development of a project's scope and content.
The Senior Construction Site-Project Manager - Data Center will manage the implementation, cost, schedule, and quality of the installation with the support of the Rehlko Channel Partners and 3rd party vendors. This is position is action oriented, requiring the incumbent to creatively plan and execute the installation, testing, and commissioning of Rehlko supplied products with limited resources.
Travel Requirements: 40-50% travel in the US, Canada and potentially minimal international travel
Work mode: This position is a remote position, based in the continental, (lower 48) United States.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage commissioning and start-up activities on-site with guidance.
  • Contribute to the development of CX documents with input from relevant teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and distributors for assigned projects, escalating challenges to senior team members.
  • Lead and coordinate project activities, tasks, and resources under supervision.
  • Provide technical guidance on Kohler emergency generator products with assistance.
  • Collaborate with contractors and distributors to optimize Kohler generator solutions.
  • Efficiently coordinate activities involving third-party vendors.
  • Assist in resolving project-related issues and challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation

Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or Industry Apprenticeship (i.e. Electrician Apprenticeship or industry adjacent) or equivalent 3-5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of three to five years' experience in project management or site commissioning product lines of similar technical complexity.
  • Field Service experience in the testing and installation of generators.
  • Electrical power, electrician, generator, or reciprocating engine experience desired.
  • Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to work cohesively across various teams, make sound decisions, and drive action cross functionally.
  • Demonstrated people skills required to lead & motivate professionals in a matrix organization who are not direct reports.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
