Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Start Date: Q2 2026
Company Overview: Viking Contracting is a plumbing service and bath & kitchen remodeling company on a focused 5-year growth plan to $10 million. We will execute 50+ remodels per year plus plumbing service work, using a mix of in-house crews and vetted subcontractors.
Role Summary: The Plumbing Project Manager takes ownership of all plumbing projects. This includes working with the field team to develop service calls into high-ticket plumbing projects and bundled bathroom remodels. In this position you will:

  • Convert service leads into remodel opportunities
  • Protect company margins through disciplined quoting and value-based selling.
Key Duties
  • Qualify and close plumbing service upgrades, whole-home re-piping, tankless water heaters, sewer/drain replacements, and bundled bathroom remodel packages.
  • Conduct in-home consultations, present proposals, handle objections, and secure signed contracts with 50% deposits.
  • Build and maintain a personal pipeline of $1.5M-$2.5M annual closed volume (target 40-60 jobs/year).
  • Convert 20-30% of service calls and referrals into full remodel projects.
  • Use CRM (HouseCall Pro or similar integrated with JobTread) for lead tracking, follow-ups, and pipeline reporting.
  • Responsible for running sold projects. If double booked, collaborate with Operations and Service Managers to ensure smooth handoff and accurate scoping.
  • Provide weekly pipeline and close-rate updates to Sales Manager.

Requirements
  • 5+ years with residential plumbing or remodeling projects at a $3M+ company, with proven success on $20k+ tickets.
  • Strong track record increasing average sale price and converting service leads to remodels.
  • Expert knowledge of plumbing systems (PEX/galvanized conversions, tankless, sewer lining, hydro-jetting) and bathroom remodel add-ons.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and quoting software (JobTread or Buildertrend experience preferred).
  • Good presenter, negotiator, and closer; comfortable in clients' homes.
  • Valid driver's license and clean record; plumbing license a plus.
Key Metrics (Quarterly Review)
  • Annual closed revenue: Meet/exceed personal quota
  • Average project value: $20k+ (rising annually)
  • Close rate on qualified leads: 60%+
  • Service-to-remodel conversion: 20%
  • Margin protection: Quotes at or above target pricing
  • Customer handoff satisfaction: 95%+ smooth transitions
