You Are: Data Conversion Developer

The Work:

As a Data Conversion Developer, you will design and implement robust data migration solutions within Oracle Cloud environments. Your work includes analyzing legacy data sources, mapping data fields, developing scripts and tools for accurate data transfers, and validating migrated information. You will collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to understand data requirements, troubleshoot conversion issues, and optimize conversion processes to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong analytical capability, and experience supporting large‑scale, complex data transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data conversion solutions for Oracle Cloud projects.
  • Analyze legacy data sources and map fields to Oracle Cloud applications.
  • Develop and execute ETL (extraction, transformation, loading) processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data conversion issues to ensure integrity and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for conversion processes.
  • Prepare test data and validate conversions during testing phases.
  • Provide post‑implementation support for data conversion activities.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine requirements and ensure successful migration outcomes.

  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud environments.
