Job Summary
The Department of Theatre and Dance is seeking a current undergraduate student to work in the Theatre Main Office and assist with the department's archival digitization project. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented student interested in theatre, archives, digital organization, research, or arts administration.
Responsibilities
Review, organize, and prepare physical archival materials for digitization.
Enter archival information into a digital database accurately and consistently.
Scan or digitize documents, photographs, programs, and other historical materials as needed.
Organize digital files using established naming and filing conventions.
Assist with cataloging and documenting archival materials.
Maintain confidentiality and handle historical materials with care.
Perform other related administrative and archival tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Current undergraduate student.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
Comfortable working with computers, digital files, and databases.
Reliable and able to maintain consistent, accurate records.
