Are you an experienced operations leader with a background in event security, venue operations, sports and entertainment, convention centers, or crowd management? Have you successfully managed large event workforces, partnered directly with clients, and overseen high-profile events where operational excellence is non-negotiable?

BEST Crowd Management is seeking a dynamic Account Manager to lead event operations in Minneapolis, MN. This is an opportunity to oversee a large-scale operation, manage a workforce of 100+ event staff, and play a critical role in delivering safe, secure, and memorable guest experiences at major events.

What You'll Do

As the Account Manager, you'll serve as the operational leader responsible for workforce management, client relationships, event execution, and business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead all aspects of event operations, staffing, recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, and event execution
  • Manage and develop a workforce of 100+ part-time/event employees and front-line supervisors
  • Partner directly with venue leadership and clients to ensure exceptional service delivery and account performance
  • Develop staffing plans and operational strategies to meet event demands while controlling labor costs
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll, invoicing, budgeting, and financial accountability
  • Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and team leaders to build a high-performing culture
  • Coordinate incident response activities and partner with law enforcement, public safety agencies, and venue management when needed
  • Support emergency preparedness planning and operational response during critical incidents
  • Monitor key performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide leadership during nights, weekends, holidays, and event-day operations
What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Supervisor, Security Manager, Event Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Experience managing teams of 100+ part-time, seasonal, or event-based employees
  • Direct client-facing experience with responsibility for relationship management and service delivery
  • Experience with employee scheduling, staffing plans, payroll administration, labor management, and budgeting
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
