Senior Controls Engineer - Manufacturing

Salary $110,000 - $120,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Paid Relocation to the Southern USA

Rapidly growing client is offering you the opportunity to work with a strong group of engineering professionals who are enjoying a fast-paced and challenging work environment. In this role, you will support and continuously improve the processes and controls to achieve goals and objectives. You’ll serve as a technical expert for controls software management to include troubleshooting controls issues and back-up programs. You’ll need a basic knowledge of SPC, CAD, PLC Programming and Robotics.

The primary focus of this assignment will be to provide programming and engineering support in basic troubleshooting of machines within assembly and test issues. You will manage future product line strategy from a controls standpoint as well as support the enhancement of controls system operations. This person will deliver control systems engineering work packages across multiple projects. Other responsibilities will include coordination of work with members of design team (including engineers, manufacturing and contractors), provide training to machinery, operations, programming, preventive maintenance and production personnel and support the overall cost reduction initiatives.

Must have Machine Design/specification/Programming experience.

Minimum requirements for this Senior Controls Engineering role:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controls position
  • Working knowledge of Robotics
  • Experience with Machine Design
  • PLC Programming
  • Must have AutoCAD
  • Auto industry standards knowledge (SORs, APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEAs, Flow Charts, TS-16949, etc.).
