Job Description
We are looking for a Staff Application Engineer of Renesas IC products to solve customer problems, including system design, bench-test, debug, and documentation.
Responsibilities:
  • System design incorporating our products (eg. GreenPAK, FPGA)
  • Planning and execution of new product prototype bring-up, bench-testing, and evaluation.
  • Technical documentation (eg. Lab Reports, Datasheets, Application Notes, etc)
  • Technical support for external customers and internal teams.
  • Presentations and product training
  • Feedback findings, issues, potential improvements to other teams
  • Lab / bench maintenance

Qualifications
  • Education: BSEE or equivalent (MSEE preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics design
  • Strong knowledge of configurable devices and development tools (eg. GreenPAK / FPGA / Verilog)
  • IC prototyping / bench skills (prototype bring-up / debugging / lab measurement / scripting)
  • Excellent technical communication / presentation skills

Additional Information
The expected annual pay range for this position is $145K - $180K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
