This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about coffee, people, and building strong financial foundations.
As the leader of our small finance team, you’ll be a critical resource for our fast-growing company while doing a little bit of everything—from managing month-end close and maintaining balance sheet integrity to improving processes, supporting strategic decision making, and helping implement systems that allow the business to grow efficiently.
Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with team members across sales, operations, production, procurement, and leadership to support financial processes, improve visibility into performance, and solve problems before they become obstacles. This is an exciting time to join our team, where your contributions will have a direct impact on the future of the company.
Growing exponentially since 2003, we’ve been honored to serve many of Texas’s highly acclaimed chefs, restaurants, and coffeehouse owners. Now shipping our liquid love all over the U.S., we specialize in small-batch, custom roasting, with a focus on sourcing the finest coffee beans from farmers around the world. Our ultimate goal is to achieve perfection in every cup—and in every financial report.

  •  Own the monthly financial close process and preparation of accurate, timely financial statements
  •  Maintain integrity of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules

  •  Manage, mentor, and support accounting team members while helping build scalable processes and controls
  •  Lead inventory accounting activities including reconciliations, valuation support, and cost tracking
  •  Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
  •  Analyze financial results and provide insights to improve profitability and operational performance
  •  Prepare documentation and support external partners including banks, tax professionals, auditors, and insurance providers
  •  Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, process improvement, and systems implementation
  •  Assist with ERP implementation, maintenance, and optimization as business needs evolve
  •  Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal controls
  •  Collaborate cross-functionally to support decision making and improve visibility into business performance

  • Tech Savviness: Strong proficiency with Excel required; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ERP systems preferred
  • Problem Solver: Resourceful, proactive thinker who identifies risks early and presents solutions—not just problems
  • Process Builder: Comfortable creating structure, improving workflows, and implementing systems in a growing organization
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, ready to support a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no task is beneath anyone
