Job Summary 


The primary goal of a Physician is to help individuals become stabilized emotionally and be able to succeed at home, school or work, maintain healthy interpersonal relationships, and learn effective coping strategies to deal with life’s challenges. The Psychiatrist will appropriately prescribe and maintain psychiatric medications.


Special Equipment, Skill or other requirements

Prior experience in individual treatment and crisis management. Ability to function independently and also collaborate as a team. Complete the appropriate forms for each client within guidelines of the specific program. May be required to work with insurance companies for required authorizations and provide therapy services to clients through Pyramid Healthcare.


REQUIREMENTS

Education

Medical Degree from an accredited college or university


LICENSURE

M.D. or D.O. Degree, Board Eligible or Board Certified Physician, Must have and maintain a current Controlled Substances Registration Certificate from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, Must have and maintain a current Physician License and Controlled Substance License from the State
