Job description

Controller - Manufacturing

Location: Pickens County

Pay: $115-125K

Schedule: M-F onsite

Growing manufacturer is seeking Controller with solid GAAP knowledge, month-end close and financial reporting experience to join their team. Excellent visibility, solid work-life balance, good benefits and bonus plan.

What you get to do:
  • Coordinate month-end close for 2 manufacturing facilities
  • Financial reporting
  • Record intercompany transactions
  • Assist in the CFO in documenting and improving internal controls
  • Oversee a small accounting team
  • Account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Standard costing
  • Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requested
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and implement systems/software as needed
What you need to succeed:
  • Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of solid GAAP, month-end close, financial reporting experience
  • CPA and/or public accounting a plus
  • SAP experience a plus
