Plant Controller

We are seeking a Plant Controller to join our manufacturing operations and serve as a key financial partner to plant leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing plant-level financial activities, ensuring accurate cost accounting, and supporting operational decision-making.

This is a fully onsite position with a target salary of 120k-150k based off experience level
Key Responsibilities: Plant Controller
  • Manage plant-level accounting activities, including monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and analyze financial results, highlighting key drivers and variances versus budget and forecast
  • Maintain and analyze standard costs, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances
  • Partner with plant leadership to support cost control, productivity, and margin improvement initiatives
  • Lead plant budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with operations
  • Provide financial analysis to support capital investments, operational changes, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls
  • Support internal and external audits as required
  • Utilize ERP and reporting systems to improve accuracy, visibility, and efficiency
Qualifications: Plant Controller
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of accounting or finance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and manufacturing operations
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar)
  • Strong Excel skills and financial analysis capabilities
