General Summary of Dutiesย 

ย Assists in developing digital content to support marketing initiatives and community partnerships. Responsible for creating branded marketing materials, maintaining website and digital channels, and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to ensure consistent messaging and drive brand awareness across all platforms.

Essential Job Functionsย 

  • Design and produce creative digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics, email campaigns, web content, postcards, statement graphics (White Space Management), envelopes, posters, ATM screens, and online banking graphics.ย 
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to support marketing, community engagement, and business development efforts across social media, websites, email newsletters, blogs, and press releases.ย 
  • Ensure consistency of brand, visual identity, and messaging across all digital and print channels.
  • Support ongoing updates and enhancements to the credit union's website to ensure content remains fresh, modern, user-friendly, and competitive.ย 
  • Regularly maintain and update website pages including Community Involvement, Financial Education, and the Community Calendar.ย 
  • Optimize digital content for usability and engagement, leveraging best practices for web design and content delivery.
  • Identify and recommend best practices in digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement.
  • Keeps Director of Marketing informed of any opportunities, best practices, and challenges.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationship with outside vendor contacts.
  • Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials to departments, offices, outside agencies, and vendors.
  • Assist the Marketing Department in the development of community partnerships and engagement initiatives through research, volunteer opportunities, and outreach programs that strengthen relationships and increase brand awareness in alignment with organizational goals.ย 
  • Assists with planning, coordination, and execution of credit union events, volunteer participation, event calendars, and organizational & industry awareness initiatives.ย 
  • ย Supports administration and promotion of the SCU Scholarship Program, including fundraising and outreach efforts.ย 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.ย ย

  • Maintain total working knowledge of department. Complete necessary logs.ย ย 
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of credit union policies/procedures that are necessary for performing job duties, including but not limited to Negotiable Instrument Reference & Guidelines, NACHA, BSA, and OFAC.ย 

Requirements

Minimum Qualificationsย 

  • Education: A two-year college degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field.ย 
  • Experience: One to three years of marketing experience preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills for email campaigns and website content management. Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, photography, videography, and social media/digital content creation a plus.ย ย
