ProSearch Recruiting Partners, an independent franchise of the MRINetwork that specializes in hiring for factory automation OEMs and integrators, is hiring for a long-established leader in automation, motion control, and mechatronic solutions. As part of their strategic growth plan, the company is adding a second Sales Account Manager to support the high-growth Atlanta. This is a high-impact role that blends hydraulic/fluid power, automation and mechatronics expertise with consultative selling to deliver solutions that drive measurable value for manufacturing and steel industry customers. 


The Account Manager will be responsible for the following day-to-day activities: 

  • Selling engineered and technical product disciplines — fluid power, automation, and mechatronic systems — across the assigned territory. 
  • Developing new accounts while managing and growing existing customer relationships. Driving new business development in hydraulic, fluid power, automation, and motion control solutions. 
  • Meeting customer needs through innovative problem-solving and engineered solutions. 
  • Promoting standard and engineered products, riding with vendor representatives, and coordinating special pricing contracts. 
  • Partnering with internal technical teams to design solutions that improve customer competitiveness and energy efficiency. 
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts, and territory activity reports. 
  • Operating within the company’s sales framework while taking an entrepreneurial approach to territory growth. 
  • Supporting corporate initiatives and all technology divisions to advance the company’s market position 
  • Willingness to travel overnight beyond initial training period. 


The Account Manager will have the following experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred 
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial sales, ideally in hydraulic/fluid power or industrial automation 
  • Proven success in new business development within steel, metals, or heavy industrial markets 
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, industrial automation (PLCs, robotics, motion control), and mechatronics. Technical proficiency with engineered product including fluid power. Automation experience is a plus 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks 
  • Committed team player with caring attitude 
  • Self-starter capable of managing existing accounts as well as finding new business 
  • A clear understanding of manufacturing processes and a desire to help customer increase their productivity and thus gain efficiency 
  • Problem solving and communication skills with the ability to make good business decisions 
  • Driven to outperform the competition thru hard work and creativity
