• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to assigned clients, developing customized treatment plans based on their unique situations and needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and determine client eligibility for services, ensuring that clients meet medical necessity and DSM V diagnostic criteria.
• Lead psycho-educational workshops and parenting support classes to empower clients with knowledge and tools for effective mental wellness.
• Document treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports with precision, maintaining compliance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and management of clients’ treatment histories.
• Ensure that billing and documentation reflect a high standard of care while meeting contractual obligations for reimbursable hours.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Holistic Recovery Counselling, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals, families, and children facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients often present with anxiety, depression, trauma histories, and adjustment disorders. A significant component of your role will involve providing culturally competent care that respects the backgrounds and experiences of each client, ensuring that our therapeutic approaches are both relevant and impactful.

• A completed Master’s degree in social work (LCSW), marriage and family therapy (LMFT), or professional clinical counseling (LPCC) from an accredited institution.
• Current Associate or Licensed status with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or actively working towards licensure.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and a self-motivated approach to managing documentation and billing hours effectively.
• An understanding of current best practices in mental health counseling, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, teletherapy platforms, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities will bolster your capacity to succeed in this role. Experience with group facilitation and psycho-educational programming is also highly desirable.
