Sheet Metal Machine Operator

Pay: $20-$30/hr (Based on Experience)

Schedule

2nd Shift (Primary)

Monday-Thursday | 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM

Overtime available as needed. Training will be conducted on day shift.

1st Shift (Limited Openings)

Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC sheet metal fabrication equipment, including press brakes, laser cutters, and punch presses. This role is responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components while maintaining safety and production standards.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC press brakes, laser cutting machines, and punch presses.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring tools.
  • Perform machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.
  • Support other sheet metal fabrication operations as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • Experience operating CNC sheet metal fabrication equipment.
  • Ability to set up and run press brakes, lasers, and punch presses.
  • Strong blueprint reading skills.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Work Environment

Machine shop and sheet metal fabrication facility with CNC mills, lathes, laser cutters, punch presses, welding, and fabrication equipment. The facility is not climate controlled and utilizes overhead cranes and forklifts throughout the shop.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
