Bending Machine Operator

Pay: $18-$20

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Bending Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining bending machines to fabricate metal components according to precise specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Configure and operate bending machines to bend metal structural shapes, such as bars, rods, angles, pipes, and tubes, to specified angles or contours as per work orders or blueprints.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect completed workpieces for defects and verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments like micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including lubrication and adjustments, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
