Position: Director of Design/Build
Location: Seneca
Salary: $90k - $110k

 

Typical Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of Design Build department operations.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, Manage & Coach the Project Managers and other direct reports, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

  • Divisional Oversight: Oversee the Design Build department as a whole, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to Precision's quality standards.

  • Safety, Training, and Career Development: Ensure all work meets established company standards, industry regulations, and contractual obligations for quality and safety. Ensure all department staff have a clear path for their careers at Precision.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, review contracts, and control financial resources for projects and operations.

  • Process Creation & Management: Identify existing issues and work with the team to ensure the proper processes are in place and being followed by all.

  • Leadership: Work with other members of the leadership team, settling current issues and helping to mold the future of the company.

 

Qualifications (You may apply even if you don't meet every qualification)

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in design build, landscape construction, or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of landscape design, hardscape & softscape installation, grading & drainage, irrigation, and plant material.

  • Proven experience managing teams, budgets, and client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Positive and solutions-minded approach.

  • Ability to quickly learn and use various types of software (CRM, GSuite, Aspire, etc.).

  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times even in difficult circumstances.
