Job description

Lewis-Palmer High School & Palmer Ridge High School are looking for a Introduction into Computer Sciences Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.  The classroom teacher provides learning experiences for high school students which follows the District 38 Student Learning Model, as well as creating a dynamic environment favorable to learning and personal growth in accordance with each student's ability.   This part time position will teach 2 classes total between the two locations.  Applicants must have, or obtain within the school year, a CTE Endorsement in Computer Science with qualifications located within the CTE Information on Authorization (linked within the attached job description), or have a valid teaching license. Start date for new teacher in District 38 will be 31 July, 2026. 

Exact placement on the pay schedule is determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting.  As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy.   This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550 - $75,279 annually.
