Glass Glazing Project Manager โ€“ Drive Glass and Glazing Excellence with BVB Glass


Job Overview:

The Opportunity:

You will take complete ownership of glass and glazing projects transitioned from the estimating team, successfully steering them from submittals to final closeout. By directing critical resources and serving as the primary point of contact for external contractors, you will directly safeguard the profitability, safety, and quality of our regional footprint. How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Conduct thorough front-end project reviews with the estimating team to align on costs, timelines, and specialized material requirements.
  • Prepare and manage comprehensive front-end submittal documents to secure prompt client approvals and maintain project momentum.
  • Monitor active projects consistently to analyze schedule and cost outcomes, executing necessary field corrections to protect profit margins.
  • Coordinate company-wide labor and material resources in collaboration with office personnel to optimize daily productivity.
  • Interface with general contractors and clients on an ongoing basis to resolve project bottlenecks and maintain exceptional relations.
  • Evaluate and price profitable change orders while occasionally estimating smaller incoming project opportunities.
  • Maintain highly organized project schedules, digital filing systems, and accurate, timely monthly progress billings.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong foundational construction knowledge and proficiency reading construction contract documents, plans, and specifications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage a diverse backlog of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated professional drive with strong problem-solving skills, integrity, and initiative.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including hands-on experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 or more years of prior construction experience working directly in a field or office capacity.
  • Prior experience or exposure within the commercial glass, glazing, or architectural metals industry.
  • Working knowledge or basic functional proficiency utilizing AutoCAD software for project review.
