Job description

ASRC Federal Advanced Research is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support autonomy vehicle integrations in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The future of the battlefield isn’t just connected—it’s autonomous. As global warfare evolves, the U.S. Army is rapidly integrating robotics and unmanned systems to maintain its decisive technological advantage. We are launching a groundbreaking initiative to infuse current military ground vehicle platforms with next-generation self-driving technologies. We aren't just adapting to modern threats; we are anticipating them. Job Responsibilities:

  • Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work in a team based or individual environment.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Monitor and report performance against plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.
  • Interface with customers and vendors as required.
  • Participates in establishing and defining program plan requirements and coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the AD/AAD and organizational leaders to facilitate actions and ensure adequate responses to various requirements.
  • Performs various secretarial/administrative functions and leads coordination of larger organization initiatives, meetings, and visits for the AD/AAD.
  • Implements new, revised, or amended procedures at a minimum corresponding to:
    • data filing,
    • email/mail procedures,
    • accountability,
    • supply ordering,
    • visit coordination,
    • preparation of travel orders/vouchers and security.
  • Works with Government Credit Card holders on supply orders, maintaining records on purchases and deliveries.
  • Works with team associates in ensuring hours and dollar amounts charged against projects and overhead are charged against correct work directives.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Secret Clearance from the Federal Government
  • Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS, 25% annually.

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years’ work-related experience.
