Position Overview

This senior-level position is responsible for the seamless operation of high-profile meeting spaces, including the Business Center and seven specialized conference rooms. The role combines administrative management with hands-on technical support, ensuring that all USTDA training sessions, delegation events, and board meetings are professionally supported from a facility and audio-visual perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the physical setup of furniture, refreshment stations, and audio-visual/teleconferencing equipment for approximately 50-60 events annually.
  • Provide real-time technical support during events, resolving issues with microphone connectivity, monitor access, and presentation displays.
  • Manage reservations and maintain the events calendar for the Business Center and the USTDA's conference rooms.
  • Create and edit audio-visual content, including professional presentations and videos for government use.
  • Conduct bi-weekly walkthroughs of conference spaces to check equipment function and stock levels; elevate critical IT or facility issues to the COR.
  • Assist with records management tasks, ensuring that government documents and project reports are accurately tracked and stored.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of administrative programs and implement policy changes to improve business processes.
  • Support the Office of Administration in areas such as building management, human resources, and security protocols.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least 10 years of administrative management or relevant professional work experience.
  • Proven experience in setting up complex board, training, or conference rooms.
  • Experience creating and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in a variety of IT programs, databases, and computerized systems.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting AV equipment such as microphones and monitors.
  • Physical ability to move a large number of files and/or heavy file boxes.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Professional Records Management training or certification.
  • Experience in administrative areas such as office management, HR support, or facilities management.

Education

College degree required in Business, Information Management, or a related field; relevant certifications are preferred.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
