  • Support the development and execution of HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) programs. Monitor ESS and HASS effectiveness, and adjust profiles based on integration results, field performance, and warranty data. Provide guidance on retest options and environmental test chamber operations.
  • Perform customer-required corrective actions and serve as a technical liaison between the company, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Manage and support the Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), including trend analysis, RCCA development, supplier interfacing, and review of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) from production test data.
  • Chair program-specific Failure Review Boards (FRB), facilitating internal and supplier issue resolution and driving closure of open action items.
  • Support Production Readiness Reviews (PRR), Test Readiness Reviews (TRR), and internal/external program reviews, ensuring reliability considerations are adequately addressed.
  • Participate in internal PMO, Operations, and support group meetings including customer rating reviews, TIMS updates, and monthly program reviews.
  • Develop and track program reliability performance metrics such as field MTBF assessments.
  • Perform in-house and field failure trend analysis, initiate investigations, and drive corrective actions to reduce failure rates and improve product reliability.
  • Support reliability predictions and development reliability analyses as needed to complement operational reliability activities.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and their application in a production and field support environment.
  • Experience with environmental stress screening methodologies including ESS, HASS, and HALT testing, profile development, and effectiveness monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with FRACAS processes including failure trending, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Familiarity with contractual reliability deliverables in a defense or aerospace environment (SDRL/CDRL).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret field and production data to identify trends and drive meaningful corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external customers with clarity and confidence.
