The Center for Veterans Issues, Inc. is dedicated to providing housing and supportive services that enhance the quality of life for all Veterans, their families, and the communities they serve. The Center for Veterans Issues, Inc. (CVI) is seeking a qualified behavioral health provider, private practice, or behavioral health agency to provide Clinical Treatment services for Veterans enrolled in our VA Grant and Per Diem Clinical Treatment Program in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This 1099 contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed provider or agency committed to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care for Veterans experiencing homelessness and working toward permanent housing, wellness, and independence.
The contracted provider will work collaboratively with CVI's interdisciplinary team to provide behavioral health assessments, biopsychosocial assessments, individual therapy, therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, treatment recommendations, and clinical consultation. The provider will also participate in service planning, collaborate with case managers, housing staff, VA providers, and community partners, and complete clinical documentation consistent with professional, agency, and VA GPD requirements.
Qualified providers should hold active Wisconsin licensure, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist, Psychiatrist, or another appropriate behavioral health credential. Experience working with Veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, trauma, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders is strongly preferred.
Providers must carry professional liability/malpractice insurance. In-person service availability is preferred, with telehealth considered when appropriate and aligned with program needs.
CVI is seeking an ongoing contractual partnership. Scheduling, service hours, reimbursement structure, documentation expectations, and reporting requirements will be discussed during the contracting process.
Interested providers or agencies should submit a brief overview of their practice or organization, clinician licensure and credentials, relevant experience, availability, and a point of contact for contract discussions.
Join CVI in providing meaningful clinical support to Veterans as they move toward healing, housing stability, and long-term independence.
