Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually
Position Summary: The Facilities Manager, NY Metro is responsible for the physical integrity, maintenance, and operational readiness of Kith's NY area retail and f&b stores. Soho, Women's, Kids Manhattan, Flatbush, Williamsburg, Kids Dumbo, Herschlifers. This role serves as the on-the-ground facilities lead for the region, ensuring all locations meet Kith's standards for safety, brand environment, and operational functionality. This role requires a hands on operator who understands the demands of luxury retail environments and can manage a diverse set of physical spaces from high-traffic flagship environments, while also effectively communicating with HQ business partner. The Facilities Manager will own vendor relationships, preventive maintenance programs, project coordination, and emergency response protocols across the NY Area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
  • Oversee day-to-day facilities operations across all seven NY locations, ensuring each environment is fully functional and brand-appropriate at all times
  • Execute and manage a preventive maintenance program covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, flooring, fixtures, exterior areas, and all restaurant related equipment.
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs at each location to identify repair needs, safety concerns, and maintenance gaps before they impact store operations
  • Coordinate and manage emergency repairs, minimizing disruption to store hours, the customer experience, and team operations
  • Maintain a centralized facilities log and service request tracker for all NY locations

Vendor & Contractor Management
  • Source, vet, and manage approved vendors and contractors for maintenance, repair, and facilities services across the market
  • Issue and manage work orders, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and cost accountability
  • Negotiate service agreements and ensure all vendor work adheres to Kith standards and applicable codes
  • Maintain an approved vendor directory for each location, segmented by trade and service type

Projects & Renovation Support
  • Partner with the Senior Dir Global Retail Ops and Store Expansion teams on improvement projects, refreshes, and new build-outs
  • Act as the on-site facilities point of contact during renovations, ensuring minimal operational disruption
  • Track project timelines, punch lists, and contractor deliverables, escalating gaps as needed

Safety, Compliance & Brand Standards
  • Ensure all NY locations remain compliant with local building codes, fire safety regulations, health and safety requirements, and ADA standards
  • Manage routine safety inspections, fire system testing, and emergency equipment checks across the market
  • Uphold and enforce Kith's facilities and brand environment standards, ensuring physical spaces reflect the brand's quality expectations at every location
  • Maintain documentation for permits, inspections, warranties, and equipment service records

Budget & Reporting
  • Manage the NY facilities budget in partnership with the Senior Dir Global Retail Ops and Store Expansion teams tracking spend against plan and flagging variances
  • Provide regular reporting on maintenance activity, vendor performance, project status, and facilities KPIs to the reporting leader
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor consolidation, preventive maintenance efficiency, and contract renegotiation

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with NY store leadership to address facilities needs that impact team and customer experience
  • Serve as the primary facilities escalation point for store directors and operations managers across the market
  • Partner with Security, Visual Merchandising, and Operations teams on space-specific needs, installations, and set-up requirements

REQUIREMENTS
Availability:
  • Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.

Experience:
  • 4+ years of facilities management or building operations experience, preferably in luxury retail, hospitality, or a multi-site environment
  • Familiarity with New York building codes, fire safety compliance, and ADA requirements
  • CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facilities Management Professional) designation a plus
  • Prior experience supporting capital projects or retail/f&b construction phases

Skills/Abilities:
  • Multi site management background
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, kitchen equipment and general building mechanics
  • Proven vendor and contractor management experience sourcing, oversight, and accountability
  • Strong communication skills and comfort operating cross-functionally with store leadership and corporate teams
  • Proficiency in facilities management software, work order systems, or comparable tools
  • Ability to travel regularly and as needed
