What You Will Do:
Model and champion Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles, fostering a strong customer-focused and results-driven culture.
Lead and develop the project sales function, ensuring exceptional service delivery and consistent execution across all customer touchpoints.
Drive sales growth and profitability by developing and implementing strategic sales, pricing, and merchandising initiatives across product categories.
Provide leadership and support to project sales activities across two locations (Shellbrook, and in support of Shell Lake), ensuring alignment, consistency, and operational effectiveness.
Collaborate with Home Centre Team Leaders to optimize workflows, improve processes, and enhance overall sales performance.
Oversee project lifecycle management, ensuring accurate quoting, timely order fulfillment, and successful completion of customer projects.
Build and maintain key customer relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients to drive repeat and referral business.
Conduct complex project consultations, providing expert product recommendations and tailored solutions.
Ensure accuracy and competitiveness of quotes and estimates, leveraging estimating systems and market knowledge.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics (sales, margins, inventory, and expenses) and take corrective action to achieve financial targets.
Support and guide daily retail operations, including merchandising execution, inventory management, and team coordination.
Develop team capability by coaching, mentoring, and supporting staff involved in project sales and customer service.
Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Maintain advanced knowledge of building materials, construction practices, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with all safety, asset protection, and operational policies and procedures across both locations.

Who You Will Work With: Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external partners to ensure a successful customer experience and project execution. This role is highly collaborative and requires effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills to support both customer satisfaction and internal efficiency.

Who You Are:
You are looking for a Project Sales Management opportunity in Home and Building Sales and Customer Service who meets the following:
7+ years of progressive experience in home improvement, construction, or retail, including extensive sales and leadership experience with a proven track record of driving revenue and margin growth.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with experience developing high-performing teams and supporting cross-location operations.
Advanced knowledge of construction practices, including the ability to interpret building plans, specifications, and codes, and oversee accurate material takeoffs.
Extensive experience in project estimating, quoting, and project management, with the ability to oversee complex, large-scale customer projects.
Customer-centric mindset, with demonstrated success building and sustaining relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients.
Strong business and financial acumen, including the ability to analyze sales performance, manage budgets, and implement strategies to achieve targets.
Highly organized and strategic, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, locations, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and lead across teams and locations.
Detail-oriented and results-driven, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality execution.
Flexible and adaptable, with availability to support extended hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
You carry a valid Class 5 driver's license, with the ability to travel between locations and perform the physical requirements of a home centre environment.
