We are seeking an experienced Private Banking Credit Specialist to support a high-performing private banking and wealth management team in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong credit underwriting and portfolio management expertise who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, structure, and underwrite credit facilities for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
- Prepare detailed credit memorandums, financial analyses, and risk assessments.
- Review personal and business financial statements, tax returns, liquidity positions, and collateral structures.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, Private Bankers, and Risk teams to deliver tailored lending solutions.
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify emerging risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support loan renewals, modifications, and annual credit reviews.
- Participate in client meetings and provide credit expertise throughout the lending process.
- 5+ years of experience in Private Banking Credit, Wealth Management Credit, Commercial Credit, or Lending.
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting principles, risk analysis, and loan structuring.
- Experience working with High-Net-Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) clients.
- Ability to analyze complex financial statements and borrowing structures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Available to start immediately.
- Experience with securities-based lending, residential real estate lending, and bespoke credit solutions.
- Prior experience within international, private, or wealth management banking environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Hybrid role based in Miami, FL
