Position Overview:

We are seeking a Lead HVAC Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in both service and installation, and a proven track record of job site leadership or project oversight. In this key position, you will not only perform complex HVAC installations and service work, but also take the lead on project coordination, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects in both residential and commercial settings
  • Oversee job site activities, ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and efficient workflow
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project expectations are met
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC system issues, offering effective and timely solutions
  • Ensure accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and job status updates
  • Participate in planning and scheduling, including materials ordering and labor coordination
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC technologies, code requirements, and best practices
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited HVAC program or apprenticeship strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC experience with advanced skills in service, installation, and diagnostics
