General Description:
Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced HVAC Apprentice. We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.

Service Technicians are the heart of our business and are the most frequent representatives of Tolin Mechanical to our clients, and Apprentice positions work along-side our Service Technicians as they develop their skills and their career here with us. HVAC Apprentices learn to troubleshoot, repair and maintain assigned HVAC equipment. They work along-side HVAC Journeymen to better understand how to properly communicate with customers and assure company's high-quality reputation is maintained. Especially in the Colorado Market, during the high demand, hot summer months, technicians will be expected to work overtime hours to cover the work-load.

Compensation & Benefits:

Average Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.

Requirements

 Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Values and displays exceptional customer service
  • Strong time management and planning skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in commercial service work
  • A drive to learn and ability to turn feedback into growth  
  • EPA license

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Over 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Completed or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education/training
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • Valid driver's license with driving record in good standing
  • Ability to gain Union Membership
