Job description

Nightwing Contracts is seeking a Contracts Manager to support the High Consequence Missions (HCM) Business within Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC (NW). In order to be successful in this role the potential candidate will need to possess advanced contract negotiations skills and be able to work in a quick-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will skillfully manage and be directly accountable for ensuring overall contract performance. This person must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives and must be able to interface with both internal stakeholders as well as customer management.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
  • Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration and customer contact activities to enable proper contract acquisition.
  • Provide support to senior management regarding contractual and business issues.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts/contract modifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as public law requirements.
  • Summarize contract issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, and formulate recommendations.
  • Act as the primary interface with customers during proposal phase, negotiations, and contract performance.
  • Negotiate sound business deals with customers and provide governance to the program team carrying out the terms and scope of the contract.
  • Work well as a member of the cross-business team (CBT), and foster teamwork with both external and internal customers.
  • Handle several assignments concurrently while maintaining schedule deadlines.
  • Manage relationships with US Government customers.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of Contract Management, Negotiations, or related fields.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for day one of employment.
  • Minimum clearance level required: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Must be willing to work onsite in order to perform job duties
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, various types of contracts (e.g. Cost Reimbursement, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, etc.), NDA's, SOWs, Teaming Agreements and other commercial agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize actions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding and trust.
  • Proven record of responsiveness with strong time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of cost structures, material estimates, development costs, performance requirements, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions for accuracy and completeness
  • Understanding of competitive procurements and ability to support the development and preparation of high quality, complex proposals
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and ability to apply them appropriately, with an understanding of standard Prime Contractor flow down provisions.

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years experience.
