Project Coordinator Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a window / door installation environment preferred but not necessary
Reports to: The Purchasing Manager
General Responsibility: The Project Coordinator purchases materials and works with Salespeople and Customers to meet all customer needs
Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator :
  • The Project Coordinator works with Sales Team and Re-measure Department on all contracts to verify completeness & accuracy of product availability
  • Work with various city/villages on all permitting needs
  • Regular computer use to both order and keep job status up to date
  • Collate & submit purchase orders and purchase requisitions to order materials, goods and supplies using various means
  • Keep in regular contact with customers in regards to lead times via phone and email
  • Interact with the suppliers on a daily basis
  • Review deliveries against the orders
  • The Project Coordinator tracks the status of all orders
  • Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods
  • Submit financing information for customers
  • Attend weekly production meetings
  • Code invoices and enter in accounting software for job costing

Project Coordinator Time Requirement: 40 hours per week with potential for overtime, availability Monday thru Friday and one Saturday/month
