Job description

We are seeking a Bioprocess Manufacturing Associate to support GMP-regulated biotechnology manufacturing operations in Devens, Massachusetts.

The associate will perform upstream or downstream manufacturing activities, including weighing raw materials, assembling and cleaning process equipment, sterilizing equipment, monitoring processes, completing electronic work instructions, and maintaining a compliant cleanroom environment.

The role may involve media and buffer preparation equipment, bioreactors, harvest equipment, chromatography skids, membrane operations, column packing systems, DeltaV, Syncade, OSI PI Historian, SAP, TrackWise, and Maximo.

Position details:

  • Hourly rate: $25.70-$30.70
  • Contract length: 6 months
  • Location: Devens, Massachusetts
  • Work arrangement: 100% onsite
  • Maximum hours: 40 hours per week
  • Rotating schedule includes weekdays, weekends, and scheduled holidays
  • W-2 contract position
  • No C2C options

Requirements

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least one year of process operations experience in a highly automated, GMP-regulated biotechnology manufacturing facility;
  • Strong knowledge of upstream and/or downstream unit operations;
  • Practical knowledge of GMP requirements and Standard Operating Procedures;
  • Experience operating bioprocess manufacturing equipment;
  • Ability to follow written procedures and recognize deviations from accepted practices;
  • Experience completing electronic work instructions and manufacturing documentation;
  • Proficiency with common computer, spreadsheet, and web-based applications;
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, teamwork, and interpersonal skills;
  • Availability for the rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays;
  • Ability to work in a position that handles hazardous materials;
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, biochemistry, or a related discipline;
  • Experience with DeltaV, Syncade, OSI PI Historian, SAP, TrackWise, or Maximo.
