Job description

Be a part of a high-performing team that requires strong development and architecture experience in designing, developing, and monitoring customer-facing middleware services for VS & Co. Design and develop data integration services using Talend platform. Monitor and support changes that exist in the middleware services infrastructure. Lead work focused on the design, development, and production support of integration solutions utilizing middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Talend, Cleo, SAP BTP, and Go-Lang on various enterprise-wide projects. Lead project segments, including cutover planning, TUT, integration, or other test phases with a technical focus. Serve as overall lead for projects or programs representing integration work. Demonstrate subject matter expertise in multiple applications or technical disciplines, knowledgeable in the technology supporting multiple business functions or supporting technologies. Consult on a variety of existing and emerging integration technologies and associated services and processes. Mentor and train team members in operational support activities, including on-call support. Drive identification and resolution of issues leveraging technical expertise and product knowledge. Research or triage new, uncommon, or complex, problems spanning multiple systems or applications. Document ETL processes, designs, and architectures. Continuously improve ETL processes by incorporating best practices and feedback. Utilize knowledge of application architecture, industry trends or best practices to recommend process or technology changes for the applications in the group's portfolio. Research potential changes, analyze options, and implement selected items. Audit results for efficiency, improved quality, or speed. Facilitate explorations with the business teams. Remote Work Available. Telecommuting required - employee may live anywhere in the United States.
Requirements Include: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study, and 7 years of experience, including 6 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Talend Data Fabric tools such as Talend Data Integration, Talend ESB, and TMC/TAC and other integration technologies; 2 years of experience with Snowflake performing data integration, Snow tasks to schedule Snow procedures, Snow streams to perform CDC, and time travel queries to debug Snow SQL queries for performance tuning; 6 years of experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using Talend; 5 years of in-depth knowledge and experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and implementation; 4 years of experience with data mapping, transformation, and integration architecture; 5 years of experience with performance tuning and optimization of integration solutions; 5 years of experience with message queuing systems and event-driven architectures; 5 years of experience withIntegration Patterns and REST based web services; 4 years of extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience with integration patterns integrating Snowflake, SAP, Salesforce, Kronos, and various databases using Talend; 6 years of experience documenting the API Developed - in terms of design patterns used, used case and performance of the services; 2 years of experience with core Java skills; 2 years of experience with Maven, GIT/Stash, Munit, and Kafka; 1 year of experience with Active MQ and RabbitMQ.Remote Work Available.
