Job Description

NO THIRD PARTIES 

Provides overall direction, guidance, definition and facilitation for the advancement of dashboard development effort to meet business strategies and goals.

Must be able to work independently with different databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server), and analytical/reporting tools such as Cognos, SAS & QlikView.

Understand business requirements very clearly then translate and use complex data sources that needs to be blended and joined to delivery efficient and quality dashboards

Involved in all aspects of the dashboard development life cycle, from the initial kickoff through the requirements analysis, design and implementation.

Follow industry standard techniques and efficient approaches to connect Tableau with disparate data sources.

Mentor internal development team and promote self-service analytics to Medicaid users.

Perform Tableau Test site admin tasks, responsible for production coordination, dashboard deployment, user management and support.

Conduct demo to internal and external Medicaid stake holders.

Develop various dashboard development standards, guidance and create artifacts.

Delivery high quality dashboards adhering to latest trends and complete project on time and work on fast paced development cycle.

Qualifications

At least 2+ years of Tableau development lead experience

At least 2+ years of experience using databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server

Strong SQL development experience

Required experience in prototyping, designing dashboard mockups and presentations to customers, development artifacts, standards and guidelines

Able to define, document and articulate dashboard processes and governance

Work on complex datasets and data analysis & data preparation tasks

Ability to develop reports & dashboards in QlikView or SAS visualization tools

Experience working with source control (such as TFS).

DESIRED Skill Sets: 2+ years of experience working with R, SSIS and SSAS
