Job description

Job Title: Surgery Coordinator

Location: Boca Raton, FL
Job Type: 6-month contract

 

Job Summary

As a Surgery Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for making sure surgical instruments and implants are delivered accurately and on time. You will help manage inventory, handle shipping and receiving, and support surgery teams with logistics.

Key Responsibilities

·Use inventory systems and FedEx software to track, ship, and receive surgical products.

·Deliver and pick up equipment and supplies to and from hospitals or clinics—including urgent and restock requests.

·Work closely with sales teams to make sure product requests are submitted correctly and delivered on time.

·Pack, label, and ship equipment using FedEx tools and follow proper procedures.

·Take ownership of tasks and follow instructions carefully.

Skills & Requirements

·Strong organization and time management

·Knowledge of Zimmer products and general surgical supplies

·Willing to be part of an on-call rotation for emergencies (24/7 availability as needed)

·May be required to work on some holidays

Education & Experience

·Background in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or similar is preferred

·At least 5 years of experience in logistics, inventory, or related support roles

·A valid driver’s license is required
